I know we all want to keep Jesus Christ at the center of our Easter celebrations but it can be hard to find something quick and easy for our own personal study or things to share with our families.
I have a quick solution to keep our Savior at the forefront of your heart and mind for Holy Week–which begins Sunday, April 10th and ends on Easter Sunday, April 17th. This blog post includes a definition, scripture and a reflection question–something you can share in 5 minutes or less! Enjoy!
LAMB OF GOD
DEFINITION:
“A name for the Savior used by John the Baptist and others (John 1:29). It has reference to Jesus being a sacrifice for the sins of mankind.”
-Bible Dictionary
SCRIPTURE:
“But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”
-1 Peter 1:19
QUESTION:
What does the name “Lamb of God” teach us about Jesus Christ?
Here are the expanded versions of the daily Easter devotionals. “8 Names of Christ LDS Daily Devotionals” (“8 Names of Christ Bible Devotionals“).
Each devotional includes a definition, two scriptures, a quote, two hymns or songs (with the links to YouTube videos to listen), artwork (with a link to view the artwork), a video (and link) and a refection/discussion question for 8 different names.
