Are you a podcast listener like me?
Podcasts are a great way to learn new things anytime.
I love listening to podcasts while doing my everyday mundane tasks— cleaning, doing laundry, exercising, and driving.
Podcasts are great for so many learners: individual, book, musical, nature, and hands-on.
Recently, I had the opportunity to be a guest on a few podcasts (and an Instagram live) talking all about learning styles.
If you want to hear quick and easy ways to use learning styles while studying General Conference talks, listen to “Meaningful Minutes With Niki Olsen” episode 71 “General Conference Study Tips“.
I also had a conversation with Natalie Bogle on her podcast, “Become Anchored” where we discussed learning styles. We also discussed how “Seek This Jesus Study” became to be and how I began teaching about gospel learning styles.
Kamden, from “The Busy Brained Saint“, on Instagram, and I had a conversation on Instagram about how learning styles are incorporated if you or a child have ADHD–another great conversation. We talk about how we can build relationship with our Heavenly Father, through learning styles, if you have ADHD (yet the principles are applicable to all).
Kristen Walker Smith and Cali Black, the hosts of the “One Minute Scripture Study“, and I discussed how to use their new book, “One Minute Scripture Study in the New Testament” with learning styles.
We discussed specific ideas of how to use their book with each of the eight learning styles. I shared one personal scripture study idea and one family study idea for each learning style.
Listen to one and come back and let me know something you learned. Can’t wait to hear from you!
