LEARNING STYLE STUDY IDEA:

STEM LEARNERS: Choose a color and mark all the times you find the word “Covenant”. Choose another color to highlight all blessings that come from keeping covenants.

MY THOUGHTS:

 I love this talk on covenants. I was blessed earlier this year to teach about the blessings of keeping covenants in nine different settings. Since then, my ears perk up every time I hear others talking about covenants. 

 

This was Sister Jean Bingham’s final talk at General Conference as our General Relief Society President. She mentioned covenants 34 times in her talk. I love how she shared so many blessings that come to us as we keep covenants.

 

Several years ago, my family and I were asked to participate in a special meeting for the “Children and Youth Program” with President Ballard, Sister Bingham, Sister Jones, Sister Cordon, and Brother Owens. I was almost sitting knee to knee with Sister Bingham for almost two hours.

 

Sister Bingham just radiated with love–I felt it every time she looked at me. As she spoke, I could feel her love for our Savior and her love for the members of the church around the world. What a special experience that was for me!
