His Church is to preach deliverance to the captive, and His disciples across the world are striving to set at liberty them that are bruised.”

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

“To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.… This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.” -Luke 4:18-19, 21

MY THOUGHTS:

We have a divine mandate to reach out and help those in need. There are so many ways we can help right in our own neighborhoods, wards, and communities. Once again, it is small and simple ways we can help others. What simple ways can you serve today?
