TALK: “To Be A Follower of Christ" by Elder Alfred Kyungu

JESUS CHRIST:

“To be a follower of Christ is to strive to conform our actions, conduct, and lives to those of the Savior. It is to acquire virtues. It is to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ.”

SCRIPTURE:

“Be ye ​​​followers​ of me, even as I also ​am​ of Christ.”

-1 Corinthians 11:1

INSPIRING QUOTE:

  • How can I imitate the Savior in everything I do?

LEARNING STYLE STUDY IDEA:

STEM LEARNERS: Elder Kyungu lists four qualities and attributes of Jesus Christ–Humility, Courage, Forgiveness, and Sacrifice. Mark every time each attribute is listed in his talk. Mark each quality with a different color.

MY THOUGHTS:

Model our lives after Jesus Christ. 

Imitate Jesus Christ.

Be humble like Jesus Christ.

Be courageous like Jesus Christ.

Forgive like Jesus Christ.

Sacrifice like Jesus Christ. 

Become like Jesus Christ (eventually).
