King of Kings: Name of Christ Devotional to Keep Christ in Christmas

Mini-devotional using a Name of Jesus Christ.

MINI-DEVOTIONAL TO KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS

Sharing another great name of Jesus Christ to study by yourself, with your family, or a group of friends.

In 2022, Russell M. Nelson, Dallin H. Oaks, and Henry B. Eyring, the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints shared a beautify Christmas message. They wrote, “This Christmas season, we invite you to find quiet moments to reflect on our Savior’s birth, life, and atoning sacrifice. Come unto Him. Learn of Him. Look to Him for lasting peace and divine rest.” (The First Presidency’s 2022 Christmas Message, November 25, 2022).

From Thanksgiving until Christmas Day, I will share a small and simple way to remember Jesus Christ and keep Christ in Christmas. Each mini-devotional can be shared as a family or used for your personal gospel study. This year also includes a small and simple service idea to help #LightTheWorld.

One way to focus on Jesus Christ during Christmas is to learn about His many names. The Gospels, in the New Testament, contain many names of Jesus Christ in the first few chapters of each book. Praying you can find joy this Christmas season as you find ways to keep Christ in Christmas.

GENERAL CONFERENCE QUOTE: King of Kings

Jesus the Christ, though He is ‘the King of kings,’ the Messiah, ‘the Son of the living God,’ does care deeply about each and every one of God’s children. He cares regardless of a person’s position—how poor or rich, how imperfect or proven someone is. During His mortal life, the Savior ministered to all..”
-Dieter F. Uchtdorf (April 2020 General Conference)
